Tsunan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tsunan Town, Nakauonuma District, Niigata Prefecture; President & CEO: Kengo Suzuki; hereinafter “Tsunan Sake Brewery”), a sake brewery located in Tsunan Town, Niigata Prefecture, has started in-house sales of three new locally produced items—Hakka Sugar, Tsubunara Corn, and Ibushi Daikon Pickles—at its brewery shop from Saturday, November 1, in conjunction with its ongoing special event, “Momiji Kura-open 2025 – Autumnal Sake Moments Painted by the Snow Country.”

By expanding its brewery shop lineup beyond freshly released sake to include foods that embody the local character of Tsunan, Tsunan Sake Brewery aims to create a space where visitors can experience and enjoy the region’s flavors more deeply.

Newly Launched Products

  • Hakka Sugar
A traditional confection featuring gentle sweetness and a refreshing hint of mint.
  • Tsubunara Corn
A fragrant, crunchy snack made from dried locally grown Tsunan corn.
  • Ibushi Daikon Pickles
A traditional smoked daikon radish pickle characterized by its rich umami and smoky aroma, offering excellent pairing with sake.

All products are available in limited quantities and have been well received since the first day of sales.

“Autumn BBQ” Special Program on October 31 and November 1

As part of a special limited-time initiative, Tsunan Sake Brewery hosted a trial “Autumn BBQ” event on Friday, October 31, and Saturday, November 1, within the brewery grounds. The barbecue featured locally grown Tsunan vegetables (eggplant, shiitake mushrooms, and sweet potatoes) as well as the regional branded pork, Tsunan Pork.
Looking ahead, the brewery is considering developing this concept into a packaged experiential program combining sake, food, and autumn foliage, aimed at visitors from within and outside Niigata Prefecture as well as international travelers.
