A Message from Tsunan Sake Brewery

With the start of the new brewing season, preparations for our fresh sake are now underway. In 2026, both Hotel Belnatio and Tsunan Sake Brewery will celebrate the milestone of their 30th anniversary.

We remain committed to continuous improvement so that we may continue to be a sake brewery cherished by the local community and by all who visit Niigata.

About Tsunan Sake Brewery

Tsunan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. is a sake producer headquartered in Tsunan Town, Nakauonuma District, Niigata Prefecture. Located in one of Japan’s heaviest snowfall regions, the brewery uses natural spring water originating from mountains rising over 2,000 meters above sea level.

By brewing sake with locally grown rice such as Gohyakumangoku and Uonuma-grown Koshihikari, Tsunan Sake Brewery pursues a style that harmonizes coexistence with nature and innovation. In 2025, the brewery was awarded the Niigata Governor’s Prize (First Place) at the Echigo-style Sake Brewing Technology Championship, a prestigious competition recognizing excellence in brewing craftsmanship.
