Tsunan Sake Brewery Delivers a Lecture and Showcases Japanese Sake at the Fukuhaku Sake Booth at Taipei International Wine & Spirits Festival 2025

Tsunan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tsunan Town, Nakauonuma District, Niigata, Japan; President & CEO: Kengo Suzuki) participated in Taipei International Wine & Spirits Festival 2025 held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center from November 14 (Thu) to November 17 (Sun), 2025. Throughout the event, the company widely introduced the appeal of Japanese sake and Tsunan Sake Brewery’s initiatives at the booth hosted by Fukuhaku.

During the exhibition period, President & CEO Dr. Kengo Suzuki (Ph.D. in Agriculture; Ph.D. in Medicine) took the stage together with PH Tsai Pei-Hsin, who leads Fukuhaku’s sake selection business, for a lecture titled “Brew for Future — The Challenge and Value of Brewing Sake from Table Rice.” With tasting included, they explained Tsunan’s unique terroir in one of the world’s heaviest snowfall regions and the significance of brewing with table rice, especially Uonuma-grown Koshihikari. The session drew strong interest from many visitors.

At the exhibition booth, Tsunan Sake Brewery introduced a range of sake products, with a focus on its flagship premium line, GO GRANDCLASS Uonuma Koshihikari Edition. In particular, GO GRANDCLASS, which received the Platinum Award at the Milano Sake Challenge, was highly acclaimed. Through tastings, the team engaged in extensive dialogue with Taiwanese consumers and food & beverage professionals.
