Tsunan Sake Brewery Launches Limited Seasonal Sake “Tsunan Ai Takisuzushi Ginjō Nama Genshu” in 2025

Tsunan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tsunan Town, Nakauonuma District, Niigata Prefecture; President: Kengo Suzuki) will release a new limited seasonal sake, “Tsunan Ai Takisuzushi Ginjō Nama Genshu,” starting Tuesday, June 3, 2025. This special sake is an unpasteurized version of the brewery’s popular “Tsunan Ai” series, brewed in winter and cold-aged until summer to bring out a distinctive character.

Takisuzushi is a ginjō nama genshu made from 100% locally grown Gohyakumangoku rice from Tsunan. With a 50% rice polishing ratio and 16% alcohol content, it offers a soft mouthfeel, elegant ginjō aroma, and the fresh taste unique to unpasteurized sake—perfect for enjoying a refreshing moment during the hot season.
