Tsunan Sake Brewery Held a Tasting Event at Haneda Airport During the "Drink Nippon! Japanese Sake Campaign" from September 27 to 29, 2024

Tsunan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tsunan Town, Niigata Prefecture; President: Kengo Suzuki; hereinafter referred to as Tsunan Sake Brewery) participated in the “Drink Nippon! Japanese Sake Campaign,” hosted by the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association, and held a tasting event at Haneda Airport over the three days from September 27 to 29, 2024.

At the tasting event, Tsunan Sake Brewery showcased its premium Junmai Daiginjo sake, GO GRANDCLASS Uonuma Koshihikari Edition, which features the rich sweetness of Uonuma-grown Koshihikari rice. In addition to introducing the popular GO series, the event focused on interacting with inbound tourists to raise global brand awareness. Feedback on the flavor was gathered from international attendees during their tasting experience.

About the “Drink Nippon! Japanese Sake Campaign”

The Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association is conducting the “Drink Nippon! Japanese Sake Campaign” as part of the government’s Action Program for Realizing Japan as a Tourism-Oriented Country, a national effort to promote tourism. This campaign, in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, the Japan Tourism Agency, international gateway airports (Narita, Haneda, Chubu, Kansai), and the sake brewing industry, aims to promote Japanese sake (including sake, shochu, and awamori) to inbound foreign tourists.

The campaign booth is located inside the duty-free area, allowing visitors to easily enjoy Japanese sake. In addition, the campaign introduces Japan’s traditional culture and tourism resources, such as the unique methods of brewing Japanese sake and breweries that are open to international visitors.
