Presentation at the Talk Session
Kengo Suzuki, the representative of Tsunan Sake Brewery, participated as a panelist in the session “Eating: What We Can Do Now for Deliciousness in the Future,” held from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Kitazawa Town Hall. The discussion focused on the current approaches to food based on the background of each speaker and the envisioned future of food. Suzuki spoke about how sake has expanded the usability of rice and contributed to the formation of food culture, with increasing demand overseas. The overall discussion included predictions about a future where technological innovations might eliminate the need for eating as a means of nutrient supply, yet the importance of eating as part of human identity and food culture would still be respected.
Future Prospects
Through participation in ZebraHood 2024, Tsunan Sake Brewery has connected with many new customers. We will continue to actively participate in such events to broadly convey the charm of Tsunan’s sake. Additionally, we aim to enhance our online information dissemination and promote activities to recognize the potential of sake among a larger audience.
