Tsunan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tsunan Town, Niigata Prefecture, CEO: Kengo Suzuki, hereinafter referred to as Tsunan Sake Brewery) participated in the “Niigata Sake Festival 2024” held at the Toki Messe Niigata Convention Center in Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, over two days on Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10, 2024.
The Niigata Sake Festival 2024 marks the 20th anniversary of the event, becoming a valuable venue for people who love Japanese sake and wish to deepen their knowledge of Niigata’s sake culture. For Tsunan Sake Brewery, participating is crucial to widely promote the local brands produced by our brewery. This year, we offered free tastings and sales of our ginjo sake “Tsunan Ai” and junmai sake “Tsunan Kogane.”
As souvenirs, in addition to the traditional 720ml bottles of “Tsunan Ai” and “Tsunan Kogane,” our six-type GO POCKET series was also popular. Both the tastings and the products for sale were so popular that they sold out by the end of the event, and we received various opinions. We plan to use the feedback from the attendees to develop our business and products further.
About the Niigata Sake Festival 2024
The Niigata Sake Festival 2024 is a large-scale event showcasing Niigata Prefecture’s Japanese sake, held at the Toki Messe Niigata Convention Center Wave Market in Niigata City on Saturday, March 9, and Sunday, March 10, 2024. Participants at the event enjoyed tasting approximately 500 varieties of Japanese sake from about 80 breweries within Niigata Prefecture, alongside Niigata’s food culture.
