Tsunan Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. (Headquartered in Tsunan, Nakauonuma District, Niigata Prefecture, Japan; President: Kengo Suzuki) participated in VOGUE Picnic 2025, one of Taiwan’s largest fashion and lifestyle outdoor festivals, held on April 26, 2025, at Meiti Riverside Park in Taipei. Through the booth of the Taiwanese select brand HUKUHAKU, the brewery showcased its portable sake lineup, the GO Series, to the Taiwanese public.
Organized by VOGUE Taiwan, the VOGUE Picnic is a signature outdoor event that blends fashion, art, gourmet experiences, and music. Attendees enjoyed a picnic atmosphere while exploring carefully curated brand booths and interactive lifestyle experiences. The event continued until 8:00 p.m., gradually transitioning into a magical evening scene with atmospheric lighting and a vibrant crowd.
Tsunan Sake Brewery presented two of its most popular products from the GO Series: the GO PIN BOTTLE (a travel-friendly sake bottle) and the GO POCKET (a sake pouch perfect for outdoor activities). The GO Series redefines sake with both portability and style, designed for modern lifestyles that embrace mobility—be it travel, picnics, or casual outdoor gatherings.
The series features sake brewed with pristine spring water from the snowy mountains of Tsunan and premium rice varieties such as Gohyakumangoku and Uonuma Koshihikari. The result is a refined, easy-drinking sake with a clean yet deep flavor profile, appealing to both first-time drinkers and connoisseurs.
Visitors at the event, many of whom are trend-savvy individuals passionate about fashion and new lifestyle expressions, sampled the sake and responded enthusiastically. Numerous guests commented that the sake “defies the traditional image” and expressed interest in enjoying it during travel or outdoor occasions. Sales of both the GO PIN BOTTLE and GO POCKET exceeded expectations throughout the day.
This successful appearance has further encouraged Tsunan Sake Brewery to accelerate its efforts in the Taiwanese market. Future plans include expanding collaboration with local select shops and lifestyle retailers, as well as developing Taiwan-exclusive products and cross-brand collaborations tailored to the preferences of younger and outdoor-oriented consumers.
