Tsunan Brewery Co., Ltd. (located in Tsunan, Nakauonuma District, Niigata Prefecture / CEO: Kengo Suzuki) participated in the “Let’s Drink Nippon! Japanese Sake Campaign” organized by the Japan Sake and Shochu Makers Association from March 15th to 28th, 2024, at Tokyo International Airport (Narita Airport). During this event, Tsunan Brewery conducted sales and tasting sessions for Japanese sake.
Tsunan Brewery is a sake brewery that strives for sustainable brewing in Tsunan, Niigata Prefecture, one of the snowiest regions in Japan. It focuses on crafting “Terroir Sake” using local rice, water, and brewery workers. For this occasion, a selection of new products including the “GO Series” were available for tasting.

About the “Let’s Drink Nippon! Japanese Sake Campaign”:
As part of the “Action Program for Realizing a Tourism-Oriented Country,” a government initiative (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Japan Tourism Agency) aimed at making Japan a tourism-oriented country, this campaign is conducted in collaboration with government agencies, international hub airports (Narita, Haneda, Chubu, Kansai), and the sake brewing industry. It targets foreign visitors to Japan, offering Japanese sake (including authentic shochu and awamori) at campaign booths set up within the duty-free areas, making it easy for international visitors to enjoy Japanese liquor. The campaign also introduces Japanese drinking culture, brewing methods, and breweries that can be visited by foreigners, highlighting Japan’s traditional culture and tourism resources.
